I was intrigued by the double use of these pencils. When I get to a stub , I will plant the pencil...according to the directions...and wait for my flowers to grow. The pencils are round which I find more comfortable to hold and the colored ones are bright. Each pencil is marked with the name of the seeds inside.I sent a box to my sister as a gift.The company emailed me....through Amazon...a planting guide. There is a guide for planting on the back of the box but if you recycle the box it's handy to have the email.
